Uraga Atlas is an interactive occurrence atlas of the 1,096 reptile and amphibian species recorded across the Indian subcontinent — India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. It maps georeferenced records for snakes, lizards, geckos, skinks, agamas and chameleons, monitor lizards, turtles and tortoises, crocodilians, frogs and toads, caecilians, and salamanders.

Explore a heatmap of roughly 98,000 georeferenced occurrence records, filter species by taxonomic group or IUCN Red List conservation status, search by scientific or common name, and open any species for photographs, its IUCN range map, a live occurrence map, genetic-resource availability, and field notes. Export a printable species checklist and report for any country, state, district, or a custom area you draw or upload.
